Bar Matchless
Before the late 1990’s, it was run-of-the-mill auto parts shop and no one called it “Matchless”
The "shocks & struts" sign is a vestige of the former tenant. When it closed in the late 90’s it got taken over by a bunch of guys who repaired motorcycles.
it just so happens that “Matchless” is also the name of a classic British motorcycle.
In 2003, “Bar Matchless” opened its doors next to the then squatter bike shop,
The “MV” wall /area used to be the storage room.
15 years later, the building was sold and the new landlords didn’t renew the bar’s lease
which brings us to 2021…
